Welcome to Croft Junior School

Thank you for visiting our school's website and on behalf of our school community, a very warm welcome to our happy and friendly school. 

It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of Croft Junior School. Having spent the majority of my teaching career in whole school leadership, I am excited to lead Croft and further develop the school's current achievements and strengths and continue its journey of excellence, for all our learners.

At Croft Junior School, we are committed to working in partnership with our community to provide the highest quality education, so that our children can enjoy purposeful learning and develop academically, personally and socially. Our dedicated and caring staff provide an exciting, engaging and stimulating curriculum, enabling all learners to succeed and flourish, in a nurturing environment. We offer our children a wide range of opportunities in all curriculum areas, giving importance to the basic skills of communication, language and literacy, numeracy and maths and computing. We are an inclusive school and we value and promote equality and diversity so that all those connected to our school, feel proud of their identity and are able to participate fully in school life. 

At Croft Junior, we take a whole school approach to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing for all. We fully understand and recognise that good mental health and wellbeing is just as important to our lives as physical health. We acknowledge that mental health can affect daily functioning, learning and achievement and we believe that it is the responsibility of all, to promote positive mental health. 

We have high expectations and strive for excellence in a caring, happy and safe environment where every child is valued. 

Staff and governors greatly value the partnership we continually strive to build with parents/carers and the contribution this makes to our children's education and well being.
